XCMG helps Bangladesh's Padma Bridge open to traffic
Eight years of fierce battle, with a total length of 6.15 kilometers, China Construction and Chinese equipment cooperated to go to sea, the largest and most challenging infrastructure project in Bangladesh's history, from dream to reality, completely ended the thousands of years of Bangladeshi people relying on ferry The history of crossing the river has written a new chapter for China-Bangladesh friendship.
During this period, more than 100 complete sets of equipment with a total value of over 100 million yuan, including XCMG cranes, road rollers, crawler cranes, and concrete equipment, witnessed and participated in this historic project in Bangladesh.
XCMG cooperated with the project contractor China Railway Bridge Bureau Group, which has been highly praised and praised. It is estimated that after the bridge is opened to traffic, Bangladesh's GDP will increase by about 1.5%, benefiting more than half of Bangladesh's population.
The river water in the construction area on both sides of the Padma connection line is turbulent. After years of scouring, the riverbed at the bridge site is filled with silt and silt, which is extremely soft. Several XCMG 55-ton truck cranes, XGC150 crawler cranes, and XGC180 crawler cranes are firmly "rooted" in the uneven muddy water surface, with flexible maneuverability, stable rotation and powerful performance, just like "special forces" who are vigorous and resolute, with extremely high work efficiency Effectively guarantee the progress of the hoisting of the supporting projects of the railway connecting line.
In March 2019, at this time less than 2 months before the frequent occurrence of the Bangladesh Squall Line, where the wind power can reach above 13, in the first branch of the railway connection project, 12 concrete mineral storage tanks, each more than 20 meters high , which weighed 10 tons. XCMG service engineers used testing wrenches to check whether the tens of thousands of bolts were tightened one by one. With the rigorous attitude of walking on thin ice, they fought day and night to catch all 9 sets of XCMG HZS180 mixing plants successfully before the squall wind came. Strict acceptance by CSC (engineering consulting unit), and it has become the mixing plant with the largest volume and the largest concrete production capacity per hour in the entire project.
The smooth progress of this super project also embodies the performance of XCMG's service team. The critical stage of the project was when Bangladesh was blocked by the epidemic and public transportation was stagnant. XCMG dispatched nearly 20 service personnel to station day and night to escort the smooth progress of the project.
In the "One Belt, One Road" initiative that traverses Europe, Asia and Africa, in this unforgettable summer, on the 6.15-kilometer scroll of the Padma River, the glorious years of Chinese builders who have experienced the glory of time are recorded, and every one in Padma XCMG workers who Ma has worked for will be proud and proud of these years.
